Mozartland is a concert staged for the whole family. The protagonists are two brothers, Nannerl and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, on a rainy afternoon during their musical tour of Europe. The children will play at theater on the basis of folk tales from their country: “The Frog Prince”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Hansel and Gretel” and “The Bremen Musicians”. The play and fantasy of the two little artists will help us understand that art is a very useful tool to improve the world and turn it into a place full of beauty, truth and goodness.
Brothers Wolfgang and Nannerl Mozart enter into the playroom of their house in Salzburg, in the middle of a musical party, and discover that something very special has happened: a lot of forest rabbits have entered the room!
The two children play with the rabbits and bring into their game the main characters of the stories they liked best: the frog, the pampered princess, the king, the hood, the wolf, the grandmother, Hansel and Grettel, the witch and even Bremen musicians.
With their game, the two Mozart brothers will try to transform the stories of the tales and their characters into beauty, truth and goodness, in the same way that, years later, Wolfgang does with his music.
